I hope you had a week full of blessings and healthy, quality time with your friends and family. I am starting my week with the excitement and new projects. New preparation plan and meal plan for my next competition, and a new trainer. I love new opportunities to do better and grow. That’s what life is all about in my opinion.
Talking about new opportunities, I decided to write about setbacks and we can start over.
We all have set backs right? Maybe you are working on a new fitness program and after a month of doing everything right, you get injured. :( What happens then? Do you give up? Give in to the sadness of not being able to do what you are doing before? That can most definitely happen.
If you had the chance to read my previous post, you saw that I also went through many set backs. What my experience now tells me is that when challenge situations arrives, you must be strong to your “WHY.”
Why is giving up after a hardship is not an option for you?
Why is it important to keep going? Then ask yourself “HOW?”
How can I stay true to my goals and even after a challenge arrives?
Here is a hypothetical practical example. Let’s use the situation below:
I want to lose 10 pounds and feel healthier. Decision was made and I got myself into a fitness program and meal plan. All is going well then I get a serious injury and I can’t workout.
Well of course I will be sad and maybe even thinking about what it is going to happen with all the hard work I had put into this. However, I am positive person and I will ask myself, why I can’t give in to sadness?
My reasons are important to me. I want to lose 10 pounds because that will allow me to be more confident about my life and profession. Becoming more confident will make me be a better trainer to my clients, change more lives, inspire more people and this is my motto in life. My purpose. Giving up is not an option!
Now let me look into how…can I overcome????
Since I can’t workout, I will take care of my nutrition. I will get informed, study, and research. I can also work the part of the body that is not injured. Having fun trying new healthy recipes.

That’s one of the reasons why I am truly passionate about Team Beachbody. The coach network is just a group of people that have figured it out their “WHYS”and now Pay It Forward by helping others to do the same and succeed.
The power to change your life is all yours! You have what it takes. No matter how hard is seems, that is always a way.
